Since we’ve changed to our new format, it is easier than ever to communicate with other members as well as update your profile with new information and new photos. With the advantages come the inevitable disadvantages of people trying to exploit the system, more often than not, to the detriment of the other members of the site.
How can you help?
It’s simple. If you see a profile with offensive photos or content on it, use the Report Abusive/Fake Profile link directly underneath the main photo on each profile. This notifies me of the profile and I’ll take prompt action in removing it.
If you get an email from one of these Nigerians or anyone wanting you to be part of some contest or ad campaign etc., you can use the same link to report a spammer on the site.
This method of the members controlling the content of the site is both quick and effective.

how about adding a choice for all users between the current layout and the old dark layout, or a newer dark layout, perhaps?

The new layout grew on me (when you got it completed) but only to the point where it’s just no big deal.
I’d also suggest… if enough members (a number of your choice) report a picture that 2 moderators can agree to delete the picture (just like banning). I’d happily assist by becoming a moderator. I’m aware of all forum and site rules (as you know) so this job would come easy.

the option to choose between different layout themes (colors, etc) would be efficient, its a mood kinda thing, ya know.

I thought about having it so a profile could be removed with enough abuse reports, but I don’t think giving the members of this site THAT MUCH power would be a good thing. Too many idiots looking to exploit a good thing.
As for the multiple layouts… it’s something I might do eventually, but I don’t consider it a priority as it doesn’t really add any functionality to the site.

Not regular members or anything…. but moderators? Like Asukablue, Osideous, Jackhole, and soon myself?
