FTJ Forums w/ Advice
For a long time the forums here at FTJ have been the #2 rated forums, in terms of total posts, on the entire Internet according to http://www.big-boards.com/. Last week, we slipped to #3. What’s going on? Are you guys actually going outside more? Have you found girls in the real world to talk to you? I don’t know whether to be disappointed in you or happy that you’ve finally graduated from the Internet world to the real world.
Here’s some advice… it’s not safe out there. Nothing good can come of going up and talking to a real live person. Only denial followed by feelings of shame and inadequacy. The damage to your already fragile egos will be substantial. I would stick to the safe haven of the friendly forums or you’re really risking a lot.
Choosing a witty message and a good emoticon, then clicking the “Post Message” button is much easier than having your mom pick out a special outfit for you, drying the sweat from your brow, then listening to the crack in your own voice as you awkwardly ask the girl outside the video game store, waiting for her friend to finish her tan, if she wants to come by later and play WoW with you.
And while you’re at it, recruit some new people from the outside world and show them what they’ve been missing.

Maybe the traffic would stay steady if the IM system actually worked. You can’t IM people from their profiles. It doesn’t connect. You can only IM people from a post in the forums.

You answered your own question without even knowing it! It’s not that we’ve been spending more time in the real world… don’t be ridiculous! It’s that the quality members including myself have all been spending the majority of our time playing World of Warcraft! It’s a much better synthetic reality than FTJ, especially because we don’t even HAVE to talk if we don’t want to! Plus a person doesn’t even have to really be a girl to flirt with them. They just need to play a female character! Moreover we don’t need to be suave, we just have to type /flirt and know how to play our class.
In short, what I’m suggesting is an FTJ MMO. Call me up at home, we’ll work something out. I’ve already worked on 5 classes and 3 raid dungeons. One takes us back in time to Doordie’s new years party!

Haha I play WoW too….but you know…the rason they aren’t on is because these guys are too busy getting laid by the girls from this site, so it’s you guys doing too good of a job. Yeah and World of Warcraft im sure is a big thunderstealer, I think I have more guys flirt with me on there than in real life or on the internet anywhere else.
