New Layout
Obviously I changed the layout a bit. I realize change is hard on everyone and calling me stupid makes it easier to cope, so don’t worry, I don’t take any offense to it.
I’m going to work on making alternate color schemes that you can mix and match to your heart’s content. Possibly one with the old black background.
As for functionality changes, there really aren’t any major changes. The layout is based on 966 pixels now, so if you have a small shitty monitor, you’re kind of screwed.
- There is a new photos section which shows the most recent photos uploaded. You can also tag photos now to make searching for whatever it is you people search for easier.
- You can upload a maximum of 100 additional photos now
- I plan on adding a “links” section somewhat Digg style which should provide more content for members.
- Added ability to show only men, only women or both men and women for the most recent online members section.

So you are still going to be working on it more right? I think if you’re set on keeping it at 966 then that’s fine, my smaller monitor can still barely handle it, but at least make the font a little bigger, and not so… bland like it is now. Color schemes will be great, I’m still not… a huge fan of the buttons. Maybe hold a little contest for the users of the site? I bet a lot of us could design better more original buttons. I’d give it a shot, though I’ve never done anything like that before. If you can detail what you need them to be like as far as dimension, to fit in with the layout schemes you have in mind, I’d try it out.
Also, see how wordpress has a little dropshadow on the left and right side? That makes a WORLD of difference, and it’s a tiny little thing. Consider adding it to FTJ? Just an idea.
Anyway you made it look better than it used to be, just looks too much like stickam.

I suggest some sort of ‘listening to’ feature.
We’re all music fans and it would be very neat to be able to see what music someone is currently listening to.
Perhaps use some sort of thing that can find out what one is listening to atm in winamp/musicmatch/itunes?

Ok I’ve got it. Make the forums thinner again, just like it used to be, then throw in some adds on the right side to get yourself some revenue. It’ll be just as easy to read and all the people with shitty monitors just wont be able to see the ads. They don’t have any money anyways, so it doesn’t matter.

All the people with shitty monitors can get bent. If you’re running at anything less than 1024×768, get off my internet. Personally, I run at 1280×1024, because that’s my LCD’s native rez.

I think there should be a way to delete mail out of the “sent” folder. I like keeping things organized and when I have a bunch of email in my sent folder and I want to find one I sent to a friend and it takes 5 minutes because I couldn’t delete the ones I didn’t want… it gets kind of annoying. It’s a small change that I think a lot of people need. Thanks for your time.

I run at 1280×1024 and this new layout it alright….expect for the fact when you click on “reply” to a thread or to see who your last profie veiwers were…the box is shrunk down and you cant sroll..if anything you have to hit tab over and over again to get to the text box or “scroll” through whatever the hell you wanna see.
expand that shit ASAP.

Yeah Ill be looking forward to the make your own scheme thing. Id really like to modify it so it looks like the snot green layout again. Tho when that one first came out i hated it. I had grown attached to it.
